I was small river fishing in New York during early fall (late September, 2015). I started by jigging and steady retrieving swimbait jigs for smallmouth bass in a small river, and later, at night, I was working jigs and rapala stickbaits for rock bass, smallmouth bass, and walleye. Considering I started fishing in the evening, I'd say the action was relatively hot.

This is one of many videos in the Lure Fishing series -- watch others for triple-digit numbers of fish, trophy fish, the tips and techniques I pick up along the way, and more!
