Hey Folks! I managed to catch my second swimbait fish of the year which came in at 3.59 lbs. But my buddy Josh was the star of the day. He landed this giant that came in at 5.86 lbs on a chatterbait!

It was a tough day and we fished hard. He searched high and low for them and found them offshore on isolated patches of dead weeds and newly growing pads. The morning started off cold with cloud cover and then the sun came out several hours later. Then we found them shallow tucked into cover. I missed one bite on a jig and hooked one pushing 3 lbs on a jig but she did the old thrash and roll and spit it out.

Equipment Used:
8' G Loomis SWBR955C
Daiwa Lexa 300HSL
65 lb Braid to 30 lb Copoly Leader
