This is the second part of the footage from last week when I posted the spybaiting video. As mentioned before, the smallmouth at this lake were post spawn, guarding fry while the largemouth were still pre spawn.

We caught a good mix of fish this day on a drop shot and crankbait. I was throwing the smaller sized first generation Koppers Live Target Deep Diving Crawfish. My buddy was throwing the latest model which has a significantly bigger body and looks even more detailed and realistic.

I caught my 2.66 lber on a Zipperworm 3.75" Drop Shot Shaker in Green Pumpkin.

The smallmouth at the end of the video was caught on a Fisher Brothers Bait Company 4" Drop Shot Minnow in Kokanee pattern. Ran out of battery and didn't capture the footage of that 2.49 lb smallmouth.
